KINDERTIME TOY DRIVE & LINDA’s LEGACY
PCA-Chesapeake Region
This is a 3-in-1 event! Community Service, Tour, & Lunch Social!
We are happy to partner with our friends at Kindertime Toy Drive and Linda’s Legacy again this year!
We are collecting donations to sponsor backpacks to provide those in need with hats, mittens, scarves, thermal underwear and socks (see below for how to make a donation). Last year our region and its members sponsored 375 backpacks! Lets make it 400 this year! The Chesapeake Region is kicking off the fundraiser by sponsoring 60 backpacks!
Then on Sunday December 19th, with thanks to our good friends at Porsche of Towson, we will meet at their showroom to assemble the backpacks and bring our gifts of new, unwrapped toys for the Kindertime Toy Drive donation. Kindertime’s founder Pete O’Neil will join us there to welcome us and talk more about Kindertime.
After we will be treated to a driving TOUR followed by a lunch SOCIAL at Outback Steakhousse in Hunt Valley.
The lunch social will be reserved for the first 25 people who also register for the lunch segment. Anyone after that will be put on the waiting list and may not be guaranteed seating with the group.
About Linda’s Legacy
$25 sponsors one backpack filled with warm clothing and other necessities to people in need in our community in a responsible and respectful manner.
Linda’s Legacy is a recognized 501(c)(3) charity. There is a shortage of available U-Haul trucks this year, and Linda’s Legacy is also seeking box trucks or people available with enclosed trailers to help deliver backpacks the week of the 20th-24th. About Kindertime Toy Drive
Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for the toy drive
Kindertime is a toy drive that collects toys and distributes them to sick and less fortunate children around the local Baltimore area. The toy drive unifies police and other first responders throughout the State of Maryland with the communities they serve.
