HDRPCA Rogue River Jet Boat Tour - August 19-20, 2023

Join us for a ride to remember on this overnight driving tour, featuring a 4-hour 36-mile Brunch Excursion jetboat tour of the wild and scenic Scenic Rogue River through Hellgate Canyon, including a full brunch at the exclusive Hellgate River Lodge.  The registration fee is $120 which includes the Sunday jetboat excursion with the brunch.  The driving tour will begin with check-in at 9:30 am on Saturday August 19 at Kendall Porsche of Bend.  We will drive south on US-97 to a rest stop at Beaver Marsh, then follow Hwys 138 and 230 to a second rest stop at the Rogue River Viewpoint, then on Hwy 62 to Grants Pass for a lunch and hotel check-in.  Afterwards we will meet at a local restaurant for social hour and dinner, with individual billing not included in the registration fee, and the remainder of the evening is on-your-own.  Sunday morning will begin with a full complimentary breakfast at the hotel at 7:00 am.  After breakfast we will assemble at the jetboat launch (adjacent to the hotel) at 9:00 am for the 4-hour excursion including brunch at the lodge, which will return us back to the launch at about 1 pm.  After re-assembling about 1:30 pm we will return to Bend, briefly on I-5 northbound to a rest stop near Canyonville, continuing from Roseburg on Hwy 138 along the North Umpqua River to a dinner stop at Diamond Lake Lodge.  After dinner you will return home on-your-own, at your leisure (about 1 1/2 hours to Bend).

A 17-room block with arrival Saturday August 19 for the High Desert Porsche Club has been reserved at the Riverside Inn, 986 SW 6th St, Grants Pass, OR 97526 Phone: (541) 476-6873, at a rate of $155.00 + 13.5% tax for a standard king room, or $165 + tax for a deluxe king room, or $165.00 + tax for a double queen room.  All room rates are for double occupancy, and offer river views.  Your hotel reservations must be made ASAP and by July 24, 2023 in order to obtain the discount block room rates.  Please make your hotel room reservations AS SOON AS POSSIBLE by calling the Riverside Inn hotel directly at (541) 476-6873 and ask for the High Desert Porsche Club block room rates.  If you make your hotel reservations after July 24 you may ask for the room block discount rates; however the Riverside Inn may instead charge you the current market room rates, or the hotel may become sold out for that date, in which case make your room reservations at another nearby hotel. 

The Hellgate Jetboat Excursion group reservations for the August 20, 9:00 am 4-Hour Brunch Excursion is included in the registration fee.  We will coordinate with the Hellgate Jetboat Excursion to seat our group together on our reserved boat.
