Roadrunner Region PCA has arranged to use the Midway Lot at EXPO NM! for autocross on March 24, 2024. -- Approximately 4.5 acres with minimal obstructions in a central location, only minutes from I-25 and I-40.
Motorsports enthusiasts are invited to come see what autocross is all about. Everyone entering the event site must sign a release & waiver form.
Driver registration will be limited. First priority will be given to Novice drivers attending the Autocross School on Saturday, March 23. and Roadrunner PCA members. Ownership of a Porsche is not required. You may cancel your registration without penalty until registration ends. As of March 10, if you are not already confirmed you will be on hold, on a wait list. The wait list currently has 6 registrants. You can check your status on your profile page. (A green dot next to the event indicates you are confirmed.)
Entry Fee: (Proposed) $60 for School Novices and PCA members; $70 for non-PCA members. There is no charge for volunteers, non-driving workers, spectators, or photographers. If registration has closed and you want to come, contact the event coordinator. Drivers will not be charged until the event. There is no charge for canceling until registration closes; however, please let us know if you cancel after the close of on-line registration so someone wait-listed may attend.

- 7:30 to 8:45am Registration and Self Tech
- ~8:15 to 9:15am Open Course Walk
- 9:15am Driver's Meeting (Mandatory)
- 9:45am First Car off
- ~11:45am to 12:30pm Lunch
- 3:00 - 3:30pm Teardown
NOTE 1: There is an Entry/Parking Fee for the Fairgrounds. This may be collected with your registration on MSR or is paid directly to EXPO NM. Discounted parking passes may be purchased through the Events Office at least one week prior to the event. Pricing per parking pass will vary based on when they are ordered. All vehicles entering without a parking pass will be subject to the standard parking fee ($10-$12 per car; cash & card accepted) with no in/out privileges.
NOTE 2: Porsche competitive classes were changed in 2022 to resemble the 2021 Porsche Parade Competition Rules for "Small Sized Autocross". All Porsches will run in the PCA competitive class or the Open Class (X02). All non-Porsches will run in either X01; Tthe Open Class (X02) is for very experienced drivers of Porsche or non-Porsche cars.

Event requirements
You must have a valid drivers license to attend our driving events and be 18 years of age or older unless you are eligible for the Porsche Junior Participation Program. You also must sign our PCA insurance waiver, and wear a wristband.
Before you can participate in our autocross, your car will need to pass a basic tech inspection. Tech inspection will take place each day before the start of any driving. Most street cars easily pass the inspection. The owner/driver should do a pre-tech inspection (PCAAutocrossSafetyInspectionChecklistMay2020.pdf) no earlier than 4 weeks prior to the event. You do not have to drive a Porsche to participate.
Helmets: Snell-rated SA2010, SAH2010, or M2010 or newer helmets are required when driving. Equivalent helmets may be used. Helmets with only DOT may not be used. We have a few loaner helmets which should be requested before the event to ensure availability.
Closed-toe shoes are also required when driving.
This is a "Run/Work" event. That means you are required to work a position when you are not driving during the autocross. We also appreciate any help you can give us before the course walk and during tear-down.
